Current artist residencies in Götz
A residency place will be available in the house from June 1st, 2024. The travel and accommodation costs must be borne by the applicant themselves and are unfortunately not financed.
Artists of all media disciplines (painting, sculpture, film, performance, installation, etc.) are welcome to apply. The Künstlerhaus Götz is located about 50 minutes from Berlin-Charlottenburg and can be reached by the RE1 train line. It is located in one picturesque village, surrounded by nature reserves, swimming areas and hiking trails.
A particular focus of the residency activities is on Self-sufficiency and livestock farming. A connection to these topics in the applications is desirable, but not mandatory.
The artist residency offers an inspiring community environment with extensive activities. The stays are each planned for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension for a further 12 months if both parties wish.
**ROOM 2** (approx. 16 sqm)

– Total monthly costs: €475
The rooms are on the ground floor, but are not completely barrier-free due to a step. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed and the house/property is not suitable for children. There are 2 toilets and a shared kitchen available, which are used by 2-3 people.
The monthly prices include additional costs, electricity, heating, internet and furniture. If accepted, a deposit of €300 must be paid before arrival. If necessary, a contract will be concluded.
The workshop and the film screening room can be used free of charge by members of the artist residency for up to 8 hours per month with prior reservation. Additional use is possible for a daily fee of €30 or a half-day fee of €15.
